Orders for Etsy extension privacy

This notice covers SupplierMafia Order Exporter for Etsy, including its beta builds. It supplements the SupplierMafia Privacy Policy.

Local Etsy exports

When you choose to read an Etsy orders page, the extension reads the supported order and item fields exposed on that page. These can include order numbers, dates, item titles, SKUs, quantities, variations, personalisation, buyer notes, delivery names and addresses, prices, and shipping details. Missing fields stay blank.

The order preview stays in the extension's memory. Excel and CSV files are generated locally and saved when you request an export. Free reads do not collect buyer email addresses. Guest order previews and exports are not sent to SupplierMafia.

The extension reads supported Etsy seller orders pages. It does not collect general browsing history or data from unrelated websites. You need access to your own Etsy seller session; the extension does not ask for or store your Etsy password.

Account sign-in and saved credentials

Email and password sign-in sends those credentials through SupplierMafia's sign-in API to its configured Supabase authentication service. The sign-in API does not store passwords or log credentials. Configured two-step verification must be completed before account access. Passwords are not saved by the extension.

You can also generate a connection code in a browser where you are signed into SupplierMafia, then paste it into the extension. The code works once and expires after 60 seconds. This links the browser profile to one selected store using a device credential; it does not copy your Google, Apple or full SupplierMafia account session into that profile. Connected profiles expire after 30 days and can be revoked in Orders settings.

Extension-only local storage holds account access and refresh tokens, a scoped device credential, the chosen workspace and default store, and export preferences. Tokens allow the extension to restore an approved sign-in. They are not stored using Chrome Sync.

SupplierMafia checks current beta approval on the server. Pausing access blocks new sign-in connections and existing device requests. Sign out clears the extension's saved account and active device credentials. Account sign-in on the website and sign-in inside the extension have separate sessions.

The Web Store beta connects to suppliermafia.com and uses your existing SupplierMafia account. Orders beta access must be enabled for that account before it can connect.

Orders you choose to sync

Choosing Sync orders sends the current page's order and item information to your selected SupplierMafia workspace and default store. Delivery information, personalisation and buyer notes are used to manage fulfilment. Connected reads can collect buyer email addresses when the server authorises that feature; those addresses can be included in sync and in an export you choose to create.

Authorised workspace members can access synced orders according to their permissions. Suppliers connected to your workspace receive the fulfilment information for orders assigned to their organisation, including delivery details and item instructions. SupplierMafia's authorised staff can access information through the platform's administrative controls for support and service operations.

Supabase provides authentication and database services, and Vercel hosts the beta website and API. Service requests and operational records can include account and device identifiers, timestamps, request metadata and outcomes. The extension does not load executable code from those services.

Returning tracking to Etsy

The extension requests eligible shipment information from your authorised workspace, then displays the order numbers, carriers and tracking for review. Completing orders on Etsy requires your confirmation. The extension uses your existing Etsy seller session to submit the confirmed shipment details and reports completion outcomes to SupplierMafia. Syncing orders alone does not complete them.

Storage, access removal and deletion

Order previews are not kept as a persistent extension archive. Export preferences stay on the device until changed or the extension's storage is cleared. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them; signing out or uninstalling the extension does not remove those files.

Synced orders, fulfilment records and tracking remain in the SupplierMafia workspace when beta access is paused. Pausing access does not delete business records. Contact privacy@suppliermafia.com to request access to or deletion of synced order information. Account deletion and separately retained platform invoices or commercial records are covered by the SupplierMafia Privacy Policy.

How this information is used

Extension data is used to provide exports, account access, order management, supplier fulfilment, tracking return and related support and security. It is not sold, used for personalised advertising, or used to assess creditworthiness or lending eligibility. Transfers of extension data are limited to providing these features, authorised support and security, or legal requirements described in the platform policy.
